B. 英語中，would rather, had rather, would sooner等之后的賓語從句常表示與客觀事實不相符的一種愿望，故使用虛擬語氣。其虛擬語氣的結構為：

例如：I’d rather you had seen the film yesterday.

我倒想你昨天看過了這場電影。

I’d rather you were here now.

我倒想你現在這兒。

We’d rather you went here tomorrow. 我寧愿你明天去那兒。

四、形容詞和副詞 (P34-37)

1. 形容詞

1) 形容詞的分類表

2）形容詞的語法功能以及在句子中的位置

a. 做定語

如果修飾的是名詞，要放在名詞之前；如果是復合代詞，則放在后面。

例如：This  is  an expensive  watch. (這是一塊價格昂貴的手表)

      主語  系     定語     表語

     I  need  something  useful.(我需要一些有用的東西)

主語  謂    賓       定語

b. 作表語

例如：  This watch   is  expensive. （這塊手表很昂貴）

          主語     系   表語

c. 作賓語補足語

例如：I  have got everything  ready.  ( 我意準備好一切)

     主   謂     賓語      賓補

3）形容詞的比較等級的規則變化和不規則變化

*4）形容詞的比較等級的用法

a. 原級

A+be動詞+as+形容詞原級+as+B.  …和…一樣

例如：Her skin is as white as snow.

她的皮膚像雪一樣白

A+be動詞+not +as+形容詞原級+as+B.  …和…不一樣, …不如…

例如：I am not as careful as her.

我不如她細心

A +be動詞+times +as+形容詞原級+as+B.   ….是…的幾倍

例如：This ruler is three times as long as that one.

這把尺子是那把的三倍長（這把尺子比那把長兩倍）

A +be動詞+half +as+形容詞原級+as+B.   ….是…的一半

例如：This tree is half as tall as that one.

這棵樹是那棵的一半高

b. 比較級(P36)

A+be動詞+形容詞比較級+than+B.  …比…

例如：I am older than you.

  我比你大

*The +比較級…, the +比較級  越…, 越…

例如：The busier he is, the happier he feels.

 他越忙越高興   

加修飾詞的比較級

在形容詞前面通過加 a bit, a little, far, much 等詞來加強比較的程度。

例如： This book is far more interesting than that one.

      這本書比那本有趣多了。

有比較級但不表示比較的現象

…less than…. (不太…),… no more than….(只不過…)

c. 最高級

A+ be動詞+the+形容詞最高級+of\in… …在…最…

例如：Spring is the best season of the year.  春天是一年里最好的季節
